Overview
Penn State Erie's Associate Degree in Plastics Engineering Technology is distinctive in the rapidly growing field of plastics. The program prepares graduates for careers as engineering technicians qualified to set up and operate plastics-processing equipment, troubleshoot processing problems, manage a production line, and provide technical service and support.
Because of the highly focused nature of the program, graduates are able to assume positions of responsibility and be immediately effective with a minimum amount of further training.
The Plastics Engineering Technology program is one of only four in the country that is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (TAC of ABET ).

The Plastics Engineering Technology degree is offered at Penn State Erie.
