Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology
Go to 4EET Student Guide
Many scientific achievements in electrical engineering are going unused due to the shortage of engineering technologists specifically educated to convert scientific information into practical devices and systems. Graduates of the Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) and Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) programs will possess the skills necessary to bridge this gap.
Technical selections are offered in the senior year to provide some degree of specialization, but all graduates receive a well-rounded basic education in electrical and electronic design principles. The strengths of the program include: an applied, hands-on education; extensive laboratory experience; and promising job placement.
This program is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc., www.abet.org .
The Electrical Engineering Technology degree is offered at the following locations: Harrisburg, Wilkes-Barre.
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology degree is offered at Penn State Erie.
