Engineering Technology at Penn State

Penn State ’s Engineering Technology program is one of the largest engineering technology programs in the country. The program offers five baccalaureate degrees and nine associate degrees at twelve locations in Pennsylvania.

Courses in engineering technology at Penn State are small, personal, and taught by 120 faculty members who have a minimum of three years of industry experience. This learning environment stresses interaction and hands-on applications.  Faculty members work closely with local and regional employers to give students the real-world knowledge and skills to perform effectively in a rapidly changing and highly technical workplace.

Campus environments range from urban to rural and offer a variety of activities and services. Some campuses serve primarily a commuting population while others offer on-campus or nearby residential housing options.
